"Mahagony Serpentine Commode with elegant veneered top. Crossbanded on three sides with santos rosewood. Four graduated drawers are crafted with decorative beaded, tambour style fronts and the cock-beaded drawer fronts are fitted with brass drop handles and framed with fine santos rosewood veneers. The whole is raised on unusual pierced bracket feet featuring complimentary beading and crossbanding. This elegant design was inspired by a distinctive 18th century original in the Chippebdale manner. Hand-crafted in England by Arthur Brett.
